Tamara came up and we all got to be together at Nana's house. The boys had "Man Time" with Dad getting military models and makeing them. Yes, dey be cool!!!
My Mommy came to be with us for a month and a half...We ate super yummy and had so much fun being with her. She is a great cook and a wonderful friend. She taught us so much about The Book of Mormon, what a legacy we all have! The kids are all going to miss you but Mike and I will miss you most of all Mom. We love you!
Axel, my baby is all grown up. He is now working to save for his mission. His goal is to pay for as much of his mission as possible and when he comes back go on to college to study something like Nuclear Physics..yikes!!!
He did it for the Autism fund raiser. It was his first run and he did so great. He came in the first five of his age group and among the first 15 runners to finish the race. We are super proud of him. Very impressive Brandon!
Areos, Ben and Ashly have decided to become musicians. Areos is taking guitar classes. Ben continues with piano although he liked trying the violin. Ashly loved trying the violin so she convinced Dad and Mom to let her join the fifth grade strings class two times a week. The two older kids try to practice both morning before school and after school too. I love it that they are getting a chance to develop their musical talents.
Aren't we quite the pair. Just wish we would have had more time to go cycling...parents of 6 and full time workers just don't have the time factor.....it is fun though when we get the chance. P.S. I have the most hunky biking buddy!!!
I, know, It has been forever!!! We have just had the 4 most stressful months. I have tons to write about but I can't remember the order so I am just going to wing it.
One super fun thing that happend on several occations this summer is Face Painting....oh, I have real artists in this family. Ben is the painter and Sam loves to be the canvas. WHat creativity!
