A Man and His Dog

Aren't they both made for each other?

Shower anyone?

Shower time for my boys. They look so adorable I just couldn't resist.

Snowed In

We have a long drive that circles around the house. With all the snow we got stuck. All the men of the family went to the rescue. Dad had to do some instructing and teaching by example. We were finally free. The great blessings of having so many hard working men in the family.

Snow Time

We had so much snow and we loved it. Of course we found the steepest hill and went for a family sledding excursion. Sam was scared to death but Brandon was his own personal reindeer. Areos learned to go down just on his own coat. It was so funny to see Dad try it too. It was soooooo cold and at the end Sam was wiped out. He fell asleep on the way home. Ben missed the fun because he was at a friends birthday party. He had a lot of snow time with Ashly during the week though. They spent their days playing in the snow with her friend and Ben even got to go with Areos to play in the snow with Areos's friend. I felt like a little girl again. It was a blast!

Christmas Brake

Mike and I were thrilled to have this holiday season come around. He was able to stay and work from home for 12 days. Yes, 12 whole days. That is the most we have lived together consecutively since we got married. I was in heaven. We also had ALL of our kids home 7 of those days, 5 were consecutive. You can imagine how incredible that was. I loved every moment of it. Here are some of our wonderful times together. Rex joined in and counted as a 7th kid.

Areos is our Hero

Areos just got called to be in the Deacon's Presidency. He is such a good son. We have so much joy from our Areos. He is the one that I can count on when I need help. He is great with Ben and Sam. Ben admires him so much and Areos has a real talent for making Sam laugh and laugh and laugh.

He is growing into quite the young man. I do believe that he is now taller than me. But, shhhhh, don't tell him I admited it. *wink*

Axel is too old for Mom's comfort

Yes, Axel is way too old. I am trying to be okay with it. Not so easy to see ones babies grow up. He went on a date this last weekend. He came up with the idea of using Mom's face paint that she got for Christmas on his date and she on him. We only got the pictures of how she painted him. He is an awesome kid.... okay not such a kid any more. Here he is in a few pictures so that you can see what I mean. I do love my baby boy!

Brandon's updates

Brandon is quite the man. His favorite thing to say is....... "I am sexy"

He firmly believes that he is just that and he had the 3,000 texts to show it.

Here are some pictures of what he has been up to.

We love our sexy kid so much!

Grandpa and Grandma Mundy

We also went and had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Mundy. They took us out to dinner and gave the kids 3 dollars in coins each so they could play pool at the restaurant. Boys will be boys and they all got carried away playing games. We saw little cousin Logan. He is just precious! Tiffany glows but I think maybe Grandma Mundy glows just as much or more.

All of the boys got to see Grandpa Mundy's gun collection. That had them all very interested. I can't blame them, I love to see them too.

We all had such a great time. We need to take the camera next time though.

Thanksgiving with Nana

Okay, I can't believe that I skipped Thanksgiving with Nana. We spent a few days over there and had a great time. Nana was wonderful as always. We met the rest of the family and had a good time eating and playing games. The kids turned out to be very creative Balderdash players.
Axel was hilarious.

Laurance Trip

Dad went to the University in Laurence, Kansas. We took a family weekend trip to go see his old haunts and hear all his funny college stories.

The kids loved one story in particular. ...... A group of Dad's friends had built a free standing brick wall right outside his apartment door. Big surprise when Dad and his roommates tried to leave in the morning. The chigger story also brought lot's of laughs.

We stayed at a hotel and enjoyed family time at the pool. Memories never to be forgotten.

Our Little Girl

Our only girl is sure growing up. She is so sweet and helpful. Dad and Mom are having a good time seeing her with friends. Seeing how she plays and takes care of her brothers. Such a diverse personality all in one little girl.

Dad the Chef

I am not the only one that cooks at home. Dad made us a wonderful salmon dinner a few weeks ago. We all thought that it was so neat that Dad has so many talents.

Rex our dog.

Right before Thanksgiving we got a new dog. His name is Rex. He is a Cocker Spaniel and we think he is around 3 years old. We found him on Craigslist and he was free. Yupeeee!

We love him dearly but boy does he challenge us sometimes. One day I came home from work and Rex had decided that the flowers Mike had sent me that were on our dinning room table were perfect to mark his territory.

Yup, he peed on my table.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.... and he looks like such a little angel doesn't he?
